Listen 'ere lads 'n lasses, for Asquerosso is abouts to announce the format for this 'ere TOG 2015 booty. As ye know the chosen parle is Freebooter's Fate, but what ye don'ts know is the rules. So pin your ears back you salty dogs and take heed of the below.
So the participants thus far are as below. It's still not too late to enter, likewise if we have your name down in error it's still not too late to walk the plank.
Alex Pringle - Brotherhood
Chloe Potter - Amazons
David Padwick - Pirates
Evan Dovey - Amazons
Hadleigh Russell - Imperial Amarda
Ian Blunt - Goblin Pirates
Jon Boon - Pirates
Liam Young - Amazons

So on to the rules then. The development rate for TOG 2015 will be as follows:
Month #1 - 07/07/2015 - 1 x Leader
Month #2 - 04/08/2015 - Up to 2 x deckhands (1 minimum) not exceeding 100 doubloons
Month #3 -  01/09/2015 - 1 x Specialist
Month #4 - 06/10/2015 - Up to 2 x deckhands (1 minimum) not exceeding 100 doubloons
Month #5 - 03/11/2015 - 1 x Specialist
Month #6 - 01/12/2015 - Your choice of character(s) not exceeding 100 doubloons
This schedule should mean that all participants have a 450 doubloon crew by the end of month 5 with the option to add some icing on the cake in month 6 if you so choose. We will will plan some rapid fire mini skirmishes for the end of month 3 and something more elaborate come the end of month 6; this will likely take place at the club's Christmas party.
At the end of each month Captains Alderson and Young will alternate in picking their top 5 favourite characters from all your entries for the relevant month. The emphasis will be on painting development; not who's the best painter. We will not be eligible to nominate our own characters, so there's no chance either of us winning TOG 2015, arr...however, one of you dogs will since painting points will be awarded on a sliding scale for our top 5 picks e.g. 5 points for position 1, 4 points for position 2 etc... We will be looking for improvement, attention to detail, base work and other X-factors. 5 points will also be awarded to each participant who has fully painted their model(s) for the month, which should have at least 4 colours visible. A further 2 points will also be awarded for fully painted bases.
TOG 2015 is all about how you can improve your painting, and not about embellishing those who can commission paint for a living. What we're hoping to see is each and every one of you end up with an amazing looking crew come Christmas.
